Why does Havelock PD hold traffic just for the Catholic Church on Hwy 70? They do not do it for any other church and today was the worst yet. The officer on duty held traffic for so long that traffic blocked the intersection at KFC causing more risk for a wreck. No kidding, we sat there today for nine minutes solid as the officer just casually let traffic come out of the parking lot as cars came out of the parking lot. Why don't the church use the traffic signal by the church. Why does HPD give them special treatment as to having an officer block traffic for the church?

The risks to me outweigh the benefits. Who would be at fault today if a collision happened at the KFC intersection because of an officer holding traffic to allow traffic to leave a parking lot?
