Sherwood Russell and Ruth Carolyn Sutton of New Bern announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Susanne Sutton, to Christopher Scott Young, both of Greenville.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Richard Bruce and Jane Young of Greenville.

A wedding is planned for July 17, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church in New Bern.
