Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Leighton Blount III of Bethel announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Gray Blount of Raleigh, to Alban Kingsley Barrus III, also of Raleigh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alban Kingsley Barrus of Kinston. A Jan. 17 wedding is planned in Bethel.
