Toni Baucom of New Bern announces the engagement of her daughter, Tai Gabrielle Baucom of Powder Springs, Ga., to Ralph Jamal Anderson Jr. of Powder Springs, Ga.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Ralph Anderson Sr. of Atlanta and the late Marilyn Harris and the grandson of Dorothy Lofton.

The bride-elect graduated New Bern High School and Winston Salem State University and is employed by Wellstar Health Systems as a systems analyst.

The bridegroom-elect graduated Frederick Douglas High School and Morris Brown College and is employed by Automatic Data Processing of Atlanta as an accountant.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 11, 2008, at Eagles Landing County Club in Stockbridge, Ga.
