Deborah and John Wade of New Bern announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Maureen Wade, to Korey Gene Morand, both of New Bern. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Jeff and Kathy Morand of River Bend.
The bride-elect graduated from New Bern High School and attends East Carolina University.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from New Bern High School and is currently employed as retail banker and certified personal trainer.
A wedding is planned for Dec. 31, 2008, at Christ Episcopal Church.
