Bernabi-Cottle

Nicole Jeanine Bernabi and James Travis Cottle, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2009, at North Wake Church with the Rev. Rob Craig officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Holton of New Bern and Leslie Bernabi of Big Fort, Mont., and the granddaughter of Anne Mlynarchek of Wayland, Mich., and the late Joseph Mlynarchek, and the late Leo and Marie Bernabi.

The bridegroom is the son of James “Ronnie” and Carolyn “Sue” Cottle of Wake Forest and the grandson of Joe and Stella Hunt of Charlottesville, Va., Mary Cottle of Charlottesville, Va., and the late James Cottle.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Nuptial music was provided by pianist Dr. Jeanine Skinner.

The matron of honor was Jennifer Bernabi of New Bern, sister-in-law of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Jessica Raaba of Memphis, Tenn., sister of the groom.

Best man was James R. Cottle of Wake Forest, father of the groom.

Groomsmen were Ehab Raaba of Memphis, Tenn., brother-in-law of the groom.

Ushers were Aaron Bernabi of New Bern, brother of the bride, and Josh McClure of Atlanta, Ga.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s mother, was held at The Cotton Company.

Assisting with the reception was Lorin Laxton of Catering Works.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Key West, Fla.

The bride graduated from Wake Technical College and is employed by Quintiles Inc. as a senior research coordinator.

The bridegroom graduated from North Carolina State University and is employed by Progressive Insurance as a customer service representative.

They plan to live in Raleigh.
