Cahoon-Eubanks

Marcie Lynn Cahoon of New Bern and Dane Salathiel Eubanks of Grimesland were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2009, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theodore Rust officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret and Lynn Cahoon of New Bern and the granddaughter of Christine Cahoon of New Bern.

The bridegroom is the son of Wanda Eubanks of New Bern and Pat Burdett of Trenton and the grandson of Kathleen Eubanks of Snow Hill.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Nuptial music was provided by organist J.T. Ellenberger and violinist Rachel Harmatuk.

Matron of honor was Allison Davis of New Bern.

Maid of honor was Katherine Workman of Winterville.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Cahoon of Chester, Va., Elizabeth Pierwola of Youngsville, Victoria Burdett of Grimesland and Kaitlyn Thomas of New Bern.

Best men were Pat Burdett of Trenton, father of the groom, and Mark Eubanks of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Patrick Burdett and Michael Burdett, both of Grimesland, Justin Kennedy of Greenville, John Pierwola of Youngsville and Chris Heath of Greenville.

P.J. Burdett was the ring bearer.

Assisting with the wedding was the Rev. Robert Weeks, who served as lector.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the New Bern Golf and Country Club.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica.

The bride graduated from East Carolina University and is employed by Lenoir Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.

The bridegroom graduated from East Carolina University and is employed by NACCO Materials Handling Group as a materials planner.

The couple will reside in Winterville.
