Free concert
Coastal Carolina Community College will host a performance by Margaret and Hugh Partridge today.
The 3 p.m. show will be in the college’s Bodenhamer Auditorium.
Hugh recently stepped down as the principal violist for the North Carolina Symphony, a position he held for more than 30 years, according to information about the show. He also has served as principal violist with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and as a professor of viola and chamber music at Wichita State University.
Margaret currently serves as executive director for the Raleigh Area Philharmonic Association, according to the information. She can be heard performing violin with Carolina Ballet, Opera Company of North Chorale and Concert Singers of Carey.

Easter donations underway
The Jacksonville Salvation Army seeks donations of items to send troops overseas during its annual Operation Easter Blessing. Items can be dropped off at 535 Bell Fork Road by March 27. Call 910-346-8800 for more information.
