Larry and Susie Meadows of Pollocksville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodi Marie Meadows of Durham, to Kevin Scott Tewes of Winston-Salem.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of James Tewes of Greensboro and Saundra Tewes of Winston-Salem.
The bride-elect graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia, and is employed by UNC-Hospitals.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina School of Law, and is employed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as an attorney/Governmental Affairs Specialist.
A wedding is planned for Aug. 21 at the First Baptist Church in New Bern.
