Shalini Melissa Aggarwal and Christopher Ryan May, both of Long Island City, N.Y., were united in marriage on June 5, 2010, at Minerals Resort in Vernon, N.J., with Pandit Krishna Varanasi officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Sudhir and Mridula Aggarwal of Tallahassee, Fla., and is the granddaughter of Om and Saroj Aggarwal of California.

The bridegroom is the son of Ron and Jackie May of New Bern and the grandson of Grace Ruge and Marion May, both of New Bern.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Delancey Hartman, Sanskriti and Niyati Gupta were the flower girls.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at Minerals Resort.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii.

The bride graduated from Stanford University and Columbia University Law School

The groom graduated from Wake Forest University and Yale University Law School.

They plan to live in Long Island City, N.Y.
