Book signing Wednesday

A new book on the N.C. State Ports Authority will be featured during a program held Wednesday at The History Place in Morehead City.

“Waterways to the World, The Story of the North Carolina State Ports Authority” authored by Transportation Museum historian Walter R. Turner, details the history of the State Ports Authority, which opened terminals in Wilmington and Morehead City in 1952.

The 7:30 p.m. program will include photographs and a book signing; a program will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Cape Fear Museum in Wilmington.
