McCormick-Hardman
Toni Suzanne McCormick of Winterville and Cecil Bryan Hardman Jr. of Greenville were married at 6 p.m. May 20, 2007, at Yankee Hall Plantation in Greenville. Keith Knox was the officiating minister.Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Wayne and Margaret McCormick of Winterville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James McCormick and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Warren.
A graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting, the bride is employed by Insurance Professionals of North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Roger and Phyllis Burkett of La Grange and Cecil Hardman of Richlands. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Anderson of Kinston and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel King of Swansboro.
He is the owner of Hardman's Landscaping Inc.
Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Greenville.
Crystal Little of Winterville, the bride's sister, was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brittany Dunn of La Grange, the groom's sister; Tonka McCoy of Grifton, the groom's sister; Ashley Sutton of Fuquay Varina; and Lesley Smith of Winterville.
The miniature bride was Ivy McCormick of Winterville, the bride's niece.
The groom's father was his son's best man.
Groomsmen were Robert McCormick of Winterville, the bride's brother; Landen Little of Winterville, the bride's nephew; Roger Burkett, the groom's step-father; Brad Sutton of Fuquay Varina; Randy McLawhorn of Greenville; and Earl Garris Jr. of Greenville.
The ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Larson Little of Winterville.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was given by the parents of the bride at Yankee Hall Plantation.
