Bruton-Hardy

Pamela Bradley Bruton of Southport and Tony Sylvan Hardy of Stella were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008, at South Harbor Village Chapel in Southport. James Brown was the officiating minister.

Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin L. Bradley of Kannapolis.

The bride attended Western Carolina University and is self-employed as a loan consultant.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Hardy of Seven Springs. He attended the United States Air Force Noncommissioned Officers Academy and is a chief petty officer with the United States Coast Guard.

The bride's daughter, Ashley Bruton of Charleston, S.C., was the maid of honor. The groom's father was his son's best man.

Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple lives in Southport.
