Melinda Bryson - Steve Fornes

 Melinda Bryson of Cove City and Steve Fornes of Vanceboro were united in marriage March 22, 2008, at Gospel Outreach Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. John Clark officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and BJ Vincent of Cove City and Jimmy and Dorothy Hansley of Hubert, and the granddaughter of Lena Taylor of New Bern.

The bridegroom is the son of Vivian Fornes of Ernul.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Nuptial music was provided by pianist Trisha Bennett.

The matron of honor was Crystal Stancill of Grifton, sister of the bride. Lexi Stancill was the flower girl.

Best man was Andrew Fornes of Vanceboro, son of the groom. Ushers were Justan Bryson of Cove City, son of the bride, and Keith Fornes of Vanceboro, son of the groom. James Wainright was the ringbearer.

Assisting with the wedding were Betty Tripp, Tonya Wainright and Tommy McCoy.

A reception, hosted by members of the family, was held at the church. Assisting with the reception were members of the family and ladies of the church.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Outer Banks.

The bride graduated from West Craven High School and is employed by Cella Ford as a Title Clerk. The bridegroom graduated from West Craven High School and is employed by Tryon Palace as a security guard.

They plan to live in Cove City.
