Mary Ellen Sidley and Michael Justin Campbell, both of Tampa, Fla., were united in marriage on June 26, 2010, at the waterfront home of Bill and Susan Barts of Morehead City with the Rev. Donnie Griggs officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Sandra Hyland of Havelock and the late Joseph P. Sidley and the granddaughter of Harriel and Dorothy Buck of Vanceboro and Tony and Christine Morris of Washington, N.C.
The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Cathy Campbell of Havelock and the grandson of William F. “Soupy” Campbell of Newport and the late Geraldine Campbell. He is also the grandson of the late Joseph and Faye Hall.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Harriel Buck.
Nuptial music was provided by sound technicians Wesley and Joy Mason.
The matron of honor was Mary Buck of Washington, N.C.
Maid of honor was Anissa Wilder of Dover.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Campbell of Morehead City, sister of the groom, Alisha Messina of Atlantic Beach, Crystal Mustachia of Ernul, Kristina Odum of Vanceboro, Jessica Sorrell of New Bern, and Ashley Buck of Snow Hill.
Annabelle Simmons of Grimesland and Kaleigh Odum of Vanceboro were the flower girls.
Best man was David Burkamp of Las Vegas, Nev.
Groomsmen were Nelson Jones of Wilmington, Joe Arlen of New Orleans, La., Jimmy Messina of Atlantic Beach, Curtis Griggs of Morehead City, Jeremiah DeLoatch of Warner Robins, Ga., and Jamin Mullins and Kenneth Bishop, both of Havelock.
Skylar Joseph Robinson, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Assisting with the wedding were Jennifer Ballou, director; Sadie Hyland, greeter; Chris and Tiffany Trainor, Cheryl Mansfield and Steve and Beverly Martucci, decorations and setup; and Joey Campbell, Jonathan Campbell and Michael Barts, parking attendants.
A reception, hosted by the groom’s parents and Bill and Susan Barts, was held following the ceremony.
Assisting with the reception were Dave and Debbie Watts, caterers; Chalice Mills, photographer; and Jonathan Mason, emcee.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Emerald Isle.
The bride graduated from New Bern High School and Craven Community College. She is a homemaker.
The bridegroom graduated from Havelock High School and East Carolina University. He is employed with Kiewit Infrastructure South as a project engineer.
The couple will live in Stafford, Va.
