Jennifer Lupton Delamar and Charles Terry Goss Jr., both of Raleigh, were united in marriage on June 26, 2010, at Oriental United Methodist Church with the Rev. Keith Sexton and the Rev. Stan Brown officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Cynthia Delamar of Oriental and the granddaughter of the late Braxton and Juanita Lupton and the late Paul and Vivian Delamar.
The bridegroom is the son of Carol Zealy Goss of Goldsboro and the late Charles Terry Goss Sr. of Atlanta, Ga. He is the grandson of Mrs. Stephen Carey Henderson of Decatur, Ga., and the late Dr. A.S. Goss Jr., and Dr. James McKee Zealy of Goldsboro and the late Mrs. Zealy.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, escorted by her father.
Nuptial music was provided by vocalist John Hales Delamar, pianist and organist, Mary Clyde Dunn and pianist Gregory Rice who accompanied vocalist.
The matron of honor was Tiffany G. Rouse of Goldsboro, sister of the groom.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Murray of Greenville.
Bridesmaids were Brandi Philipps of Chocowinity, Holly Dunn of Oriental and Jamie Zealy of Raleigh.
Best man was Stephen Lane of Raleigh.
Groomsmen were Brad Robinson and Richard Jarrett, both of Raleigh, Parker Bell of New York City, Austin Williams of Goldsboro, Paul Delamar III of Oriental, brother of the bride.
Assisting with the wedding were Ronnie and Anne Watson, directors; Julia Given, bride’s book attendant; and Lean Given, program attendant.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at The New Bern Golf and Country Club.
Assisting with the reception were Kristen Prescott, Karen Spruill, Chuck and Wanda Forrest, Anne Miller, Reg and Dianne Piland and Craig Price.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Fiji.
The bride graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and ECU and is employed by Harnett County Schools as a high school art teacher.
The bridegroom graduated from North Carolina State University and is employed by I. Kruger, Inc. as a process-engineering manager.
They plan to live in Raleigh.
