Crowe-Wade
Alison Renee Crowe of New Bern and William Melvin Wade Jr. of Kinston were united in marriage on Sept. 19, 2009, in Cape Carteret.
The bride is the daughter of James Barnum Crowe Jr. and Rebecca Wood Crowe of New Bern, and the granddaughter of Bernice Souther Moore of Morehead City, Corenia Waston Wood of White Oak and James Barnum Crowe Sr. and Hannible Steel Wood.
The groom is the son of William Melvin Wade Sr. and Paulette Brittain Wade of La Grange and the grandson of Valdyra Fornes Brittain of La Grange, Katrine Pelletier Wade of La Grange, and the late Carlton Wayne Brittain and William Malon Wade.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The matron of honor was Amber Crowe Kelley of Laurinburg, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Michelle Boyette of Kinston, Dawn Forrest Roberson of Winterville and Jamie Killette Wiggins of La Grange.
The best man was William Melvin Wade Sr. of La Grange, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Jessie William Conway of Kinston, Timothy James Seaman of La Grange and James Scott Wiggins of La Grange.
The bride graduated from Lenoir Community College and is employed by Lenoir Memorial Hospital in the emergency department as a registered nurse.
The groom graduated from East Carolina University and is employed by Lenoir County Health Department as a registered environmental health specialist.
The couple plans to live in Kinston.
