Katherine “Katie” Johnson of Charlotte and Robert J. Cutler of Swansboro were united in marriage on Oct. 1, 2011, at Van Landingham Estate in Charlotte. The Rev. Ken Lyon performed the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gene and Barbara Johnson of Charlotte.
The groom is the son of Jan Cutler and Bob Cutler, both of Swansboro.
The bride was attended by Emily Kerley of Charlotte.
The groom chose his brother, Patrick J. Cutler of Albuquerque, N.M., as his best man.
The bride is the owner of the Johnson Group.
The groom is a landscaper.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Jamaica.
They reside in Charlotte.
