Susan and Stephen Daniels of New Bern announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Marie Daniels, to Matthew Steven Ennis of Jacksonville.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Michelle and Steven Ennis of Jacksonville.

The bride-elect graduated from Appalachian State University in 2008 and is employed by Atlantic Marine Corps Communities.

The bridegroom-elect attended East Carolina University and received his Basic Law Enforcement Certificate and is currently pursuing his career in law enforcement.

A wedding is planned for Nov. 13, 2010, at the New Bern Golf and Country Club.
