Kinston wins 2A state championship

The Kinston High School boys' basketball team won the 2A state championship game, defeating West Caldwell, 51-29, at N.C. State's Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh.

MVP Reggie Bullock led the Vikings with 15 points in the win, the second state title for Kinston in three years. The Vikings also won the 3A title in 2008.
