Mr. and Mrs. Brian Gillis

Miranda Ann Mull of Swansboro and Brian Mark Gillis of Jacksonville were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 2009, at the Octagon House at Jones Masonic Campus in Cedar Point. The Rev. Terry R. Golden performed the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Mull of Swansboro.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Mary Gillis of Randleman and the late Mr. Johnny Gillis.

The bride was attended by matron of honor Tawane M. Hill of Newport News, Va.

The groom chose Luke Hollingsworth of Randleman as his best man.

The bride is a technical support teacher with the special education department at Onslow County Schools.

The groom is a marine patrol officer with the Division of Marine Fisheries.

They reside in Jacksonville.
