Dana Rae Panepinto and Kerry Michael Hancock, both of Cary, announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Betty and Richard Panepinto of Pace, Fla.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Denise and Kerry Hancock of New Bern.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 17, 2008 in Garner.
