Woodard-Hines
Kimberly Nichole Woodard and Dennis Wayne Hines, both of Winterville, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Sept. 13, 2008, in Oriental. Dr. George Duffie officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Escorted by her father and step-father, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Arnfast of Oriental, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Woodard of Ahoskie. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Woodard of Ahoskie and Sylvia Sawyer of Windsor, and the late Nelson Sawyer.
The bride received her Associate Degree in business administration and an Associates in marketing and sales. She is employed with Pitt County Government.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Krodel of Snow Hill, and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Hines of Kinston. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Jones of Snow Hill and the late Wallace Jones, and Thelma Hines of Snow Hill and the late Lester Hines.
The groom received his Associate Degree in business administration and is licensed in real estate sales. He is employed with Leonard's Supply & Truck Accessories.
Carla Blanford of Ahoskie served as the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Betsy Brett and Marcie Judge of Greenville, Brandy Burden and Brandi Farmer of Ahoskie, Christine Carter of Raleigh, Amanda Crockrell of Washington, Alyssa Krodel of Snow Hill, Allison Lavin of Elizabeth City, Kim Rowland of South Carolina, Danielle Shaffer of Apex, Jessica Stallings of Winterville, Stephanie Perry of Nags Head and Marybeth Turner of Tennessee.
Ashley Woodard of Raleigh served as the flower girl.
Brad Krodel of Snow Hill served as the best man.
Groomsmen included Matthew Britt, Ben Copenhaver, Ben Harper, James Harper and Clay Morgan, all of Greenville; Josh Copenhaver of Snow Hill; Ritchie Hart, Lance Miller and Bill Upchurch, all of Winterville; Dana Miller of Grimesland; and Chance Woodard of Ahoskie.
Austin Woodard of Raleigh served as the ring bearer.
Music was provided by Laura Miller and Eddie Adams. Guestbook and program attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Worthington.
Following a wedding trip to The Sandals Resort & Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple lives in Winterville.

Following the ceremony, a riverside reception was given by the bride's parents at the Arnfast residence.
On May 17, a Cupid Shuffle dance party was given by Alan and Shelba Arnfast in Greenville.
On June 29, a grill & chill shower was given by Brad and Jennifer Krodel, and Butch and Tanya Martin in Snow Hill.
On July 19, a luau party was given by the Bond family at Sailcraft Marina in Oriental.
On July 26, a bachelorette party and lingerie shower was given by Betsy Brett in Greenville.
On Aug. 2, a honeymoon shower was given by Allison and Sean Lavin in Elizabeth City.
On Aug. 9, a lawn and garden shower and brunch was given by Carla Blanford and Sonya Woodard at the Jernigan Bed and Breakfast in Ahoskie.
On Aug. 9, a bachelor party was given by Dana Miller in Greenville.
On Aug. 14, a bridal shower was given by co-workers at the County Office Building.
On Aug. 16, a bridal luncheon was given by Elizabeth Jones, Stephanie Britt, and Brad and Jennifer Krodel at the Krodel residence.
On Sept. 12, a rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom at the St. Peters Banquet Hall in Oriental.
On Sept. 13, a bridesmaids' brunch was given by Alan and Shelba Arnfast at their home.
