Bill and Cathy Hutchens of New Bern announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Brooke Hutchens, to Mark Edward Collins, both of New Bern. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Edward and Barbara Collins of New Bern.
The bride-elect attends East Carolina University.
The bridegroom-elect attends Craven Community College and is employed by BSH Home Appliances.
A wedding is planned for May 16, 2009, at Temple Baptist Church.
