Lisa Diane Hasse and Kenneth Thomas Jones Jr., both of Kinston, were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 9, 2004, at Armenia Christian Church in Kinston.
The Rev. Don Steffa performed the ceremony.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Joseph and Debra Hasse of Kinston.
She is the granddaughter of Christina Saliski of Toms River, N.J., and the late George Saliski, and the late Charles and Lucille Hasse, who lived in Toms River, N.J.
A 2001 graduate of South Lenoir High School, she is a 2003 graduate of Pitt Community College with an associate's degree in architectural technology. She is a CAD technician with Stroud Engineering PA in Greenville.
The groom is the son of Kenneth T. Jones Sr. and Jean L. Alphin, both of Kinston. He is the grandson of Grace Alphin and Evelyn Jones, both of Kinston, the late William Alphin and the late Willie Jones.
A 1998 SLHS graduate, he graduated in 2000 from Lenoir Community College's Basic Law Enforcement Training. He is a police officer with the Kinston Department of Public Safety.
The bride's sister, Dawn Parker of Kinston, was the matron of honor. The groom's father was the best man.
Following a wedding trip to the Great Smokey Mountains, the couple is living in Kinston.
