Jaclyn Nicole Kellam of Elon and Ryan Matthew Herman of Kinston were united in marriage at 4 p.m. May 15, 2010, at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church in Graham. The Rev. Brandon Rouse officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Steven G. Kellam and Teresa J. Kellam of Elon.
She is the granddaughter of Sandra Sigmon of High Point, Marvin and Francis Kellam of Burlington, and Donnie and Vicky Jones of Zephyrhills, Fla.
The bride is enrolled in cosmetology school.
The groom is the son of Larry W. Herman and Penny L. Herman of Lincolnton.
He is the grandson of Eva Herman of Gastonia, and Tom and Bobbie Lineberger of Bessemer City.
A graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in communications, he is the sports editor with The Free Press.
Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Kinston.
Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Alison Kellam of Elon.
Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Justus Herman of Lincolnton; Melina Rouse and Lisa Shields of Burlington; the bride’s cousin, Angel Stocks of Lexington; and Bethany Culbertson of Elon.
Randi Stocks of Lexington, the bride’s cousin, was flower girl.
The groom’s father served as his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Corey Herman of Lincolnton; the bride’s brother, Jason Kellam of Elon; Jackie Elwart and Paul Milner of Kinston; and Brad Gates of Lincolnton.
Jack Dockrill of Burlington was ring bearer.
Music was provided by Julia Minor, pianist, and Jackie Elwart, vocalist.
The wedding was directed by Diane Harvalias.
Register attendant was Caitlin Fox. Program attendants were Samantha Thomas and Hannah Culbertson.
Following the ceremony, a reception was given by the parents of the bride at DiGeorgio’s Catering in Burlington.
