Adams-Stone

Jaime Lynne Adams and Charles Kevin Stone, both of Wilmington, were united in marriage on Nov. 14, 2009, at First Baptist Church in New Bern with the Rev. Steven Fitzgerald officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Edward Adams Jr. of New Bern and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Edward Adams Sr., the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kitchin Russell Jr. and the late Mrs. Jean Bizzell Russell.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walter Stone of Goldsboro, and the grandson of Mrs. Elbert Melvin Gregory Sr. and the late Mr. Elbert Melvin Gregory Sr., the late Mr. Clarence LeRoy Williams, the late Mrs. Margaret Caroon Stone and the late Mr. Charles Anthony Stone.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Nuptial music was provided by vocalist Kelli Paschal Billingsley of New Bern and organist Bette Jo Oglesby.

Maid of honor was Ashley Faith Gunter of Wilmington.

Bridesmaids were Lori Marie Stone of Winterville, sister of the groom, Shannon Marie Blizzard and Stacy LeAnn Nichols, both of Wilmington, Amber Renee Evans of Chesapeake, Va., Cathy Joyce Hendrickson of Raleigh, and Brittany Michaela LaPorte and Rachel Dawn LaPorte, both of Clemmons.

    Madeline Carlson of Wilmington was the flower girl.

Best man was John David Grady IV of Wilmington.

Groomsmen were Russell Matthew Russell of New Bern, brother of the bride, Stephen Brian Martin and Michael Webber, both of Wilmington, Ethan Scott Sellars of Goldsboro and Jason Eugene Sellars of Jacksonville.

John David Grady V of Wilmington was the ring bearer.

Assisting with the wedding was reader Mrs. Eddie King of Newport and greeter Mrs. Lillian Russell Horne of Vanceboro.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the New Bern Golf and Country Club in New Bern.

Assisting with the reception were greeters Mr. and Mrs. Eddie King of Newport and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony French of New Bern.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica.

The bride attended East Carolina University and Coastal Carolina School of Massage Therapy. She is employed by Shell Island Resort as a restaurant manager.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is employed by River Enterprises as a general manager.

The couple will reside in Wilmington.
