Ashley Lawrence - Kenneth Koonce

Evelyn Lawrence Critzer of River Bend announces the engagement of her daughter, Ashley Katherine Bryant Lawrence, to Kenneth E. Koonce of Cove City. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Russell Lawrence Jr. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Nick D. Koonce of Cove City and Donnie and Barbara Collins of Cove City.

The bride-elect graduated from New Bern High School and attended the Art Institute of Tampa, Fla., and Mira Costa College of Oceanside, Calif.

The bridegroom-elect graduated from West Craven High School and is a corporal in the Communications Division with the U.S. Marine Corps.

A wedding is planned for Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the First Baptist Church, Middle Street, New Bern.
