Jessica Dawn Wade of Kinston and Kyle Mark Lowman of La Grange were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Dec. 10, 2011, at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Spruill performed the ceremony.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Penny Wade and Chuck Wade of Kinston. She is the granddaughter of Faye Stancill of Kinston and the late Roger Stancill; and the late Charles Wade Sr., who lived in Grifton.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from ECU. She is a fifth-grade AIG teacher at Southwood Elementary School.
The groom is the son of Susan Lowman and Kevin Lowman of La Grange. He is the grandson of Wally and Peggy Liles of La Grange, and Ray and Ruth Lowman of Rustburg.
He received an Associate of Science degree in culinary arts from Lenoir Community College. He is employed at Bethel Christian Academy in the maintenance department.
Following a wedding trip to Nashville, Tenn., the couple resides in La Grange.
Heather Gates of Kinston, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Melissa Tripp, and Melissa Ball, both of La Grange.
Lelani Deaver was flower girl.
The groom’s father served as his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Chris Lowman, and the groom’s brother-in-law Brian Tripp, both of La Grange.
The groom’s nephew, Zander Tripp of La Grange, was ring bearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at Select Food Service.
