Jacksonville schedules special meeting Tuesday

A special meeting has been scheduled by Jacksonville City Council for a presentation on the upcoming property tax revaluation.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A and B in Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge St.

Topics include a presentation by the Onslow County tax office on revaluation, bid award for water system improvements and consideration of a voluntary satellite annexation request by Tar Landing Baptist Church, according to a release from the city.
