Moore-O'Neal

Nina LeAnne Moore and Matthew Lowe O'Neal, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 27, 2009, at Parkview Baptist Church in Morehead City. The Rev. Michael J. Fields performed the ceremony.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Phil Harper of Kinston, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Marvin Moore of Snow Hill. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin W. Moore of Kinston, Mary Lou McLawhorn of Kinston and the late Fred S. McLawhorn, Dorothy Harper of Kinston, and Mr. and Mrs. James Whitley of Wilson.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts, she was employed with Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grantland Lowe O'Neal of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Reavis Carlton O'Neal Jr. and Katye Lowe O'Neal, both of whom lived in Hazel Green, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Cornelius Pautler, who lived in of Huntsville, Ala.

A graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts and East Carolina University with a  Bachelor of Fine Arts, he is a brand design manager with Burt's Bees Inc. in Durham.

Following a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Raleigh.

Maid of honors were the bride's sisters, Christian Hope Moore and Johnna Elizabeth Moore, both of Wilmington.

Bridesmaids were Jessica Oettinger Wilder of Kinston; Lindsey Marcell Bruton of Greenville, the bride's step-sister; Jennifer O'Neal Schiess of Austin, Texas, the groom's sister; Amanda Riddick Harrell of Fayetteville; Haley Marie Kalil of Washington, D.C.; and Kimberly Britton Hill and Sally Bryan Carey, both of Raleigh.

The bride's cousin, Mary Kimbrell Livermon of Rocky Mount, was the flower girl.

The groom's father was his son's best man.

Groomsmen were John Hollis Fields of Greensboro; James Frederick Soffe, Robert Walker Ingram and Douglas Hunter Parks, all of Raleigh; Robert Vincent Schiess of Austin, Texas, the groom's brother-in-law; Philip Whitfield Harper of Kinston, the bride's step-brother; and George Gatlin Jenkins of Tarboro.

Ring bearers were the groom's nephews, Finn O'Neal Schiess and Theodore Vincent Schiess, both of Austin, Texas.

The wedding was directed by Mia Heath of Kinston.

Jony Moore Hart of Winterville was the register attendant.

Program attendants were April McLawhorn Livermon of Rocky Mount; Amy Parrish McLawhorn of Coral Springs, Fla.; and Jentry Jamison Hawkins of Raleigh.

Candle lighters were Colby Dixon Kirkpatrick of Rocky Mount and Jordan Nicole McLawhorn of Coral Springs, Fla.

Following the ceremony a reception was given by the bride's parents at the North Carolina Maritime Museum.
