Kristen Jennifer Williams and Christopher Don Kadlec, both of Yorktown, Va., were united in marriage at sunset June 18, 2009, on Smather's Beach in Key West, Fla. Aaron Wechter was the officiating minister.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williams of Goldsboro, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Heft of Clayton. She is the granddaughter of Laura Sutton of Deep Run and Arlene Williams of Bristol, Fla.

She is a graduate of Lenoir Community College and a registered nurse with Health Net.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kadlec of Carrollton, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carr of Hampton, Va.

A graduate of Tidewater Community College, he is a driver with Coca-Cola.

The couple resides in Yorktown, Va.
