Ernie and Michelle Brinson of New Bern announce the engagement of their daughter, Krystal Nicole Brinson of New Bern, to Robert "Bobby" John Benjamin of New Bern.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Randy E. Benjamin of New Bern and Michelle E. Benjamin of South Dakota.
The bride-elect attends Craven Community College and is employed by Karl and Lynda Kemppainnen.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from West Craven High School and is employed by Food Lion.
A wedding is planned for Sept. 13, 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlantic Beach.
