Parker-Gardner

Kelly Anne Parker of New Bern and Bob Gardner of Matthews were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2010, at The Michels Center in Greenville with the Rev. Scott Wilkinson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jonathan and Brenda Parker of New Bern and the granddaughter of Wilson and Nina Parker and Flo Bartholomew, all of New Bern, and the late Sid Bartholomew.

The bridegroom is the son of Bob and Teresa Gardner of Matthews and the grandson of Tootsie Bruce of Rock Hill. S.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Nuptial music was provided by violinist, Leo Perez.

The matron of honor was Nicole Neuman Hughes of Wilmington.

Bridesmaids were Hope Dail, Stephanie Dicken, and Jillian Mistak, all of Greenville, Lindsay Shannon of Raleigh, and Diana Villegas of Huntington Beach, Calif., sister of the groom.

Best man was Chad Benton of Holly Springs.

Groomsmen were Keegan Federal of Charlotte, Brad Evans of Winston-Salem, Brian Humphries of Raleigh, Nick Jardine of Cary and Matthew Parker of Greenville, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Dale Eramo of New York, N.Y., and Jason Aycoth of Greensboro.

Assisting with the wedding was Joyce Burdon.

A reception, hosted by Jonathan and Brenda Parker, was held at The Michels Center.

Assisting with the reception was Ginger Timms.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Kauai, Hawaii.

The bride graduated from East Carolina University and is employed by Cary Christian School as a teacher.

The bridegroom graduated from North Carolina State University and East Carolina University and is employed by AICPA as a supervisor.

They plan to live in Cary.
