Danny and Lulu Rice of Alliance announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Rice, to Eric Wade Rowell, both of Charlotte.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Ronnie and Kathy Rowell of Garner.

The bride-elect graduated from N.C. State University and is employed with The Shaw Group in Charlotte.

The bridegroom-elect graduated from N.C. State University and from the Charleston School of Law. He practices law in Mecklenburg County.

A wedding is planned for April 14, 2012, at The Somerset Resort on Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
