Statutory rape - Stephen Andrew Ross

Stephen Andrew Ross, 19, of Hadnot Creek Road in Swansboro, was charged Friday by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office with statutory rape/sexual offense – defendant greater than four years and less than six years and two counts contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Ross is accused of engaging in a sex offense with a 14-year-old female, of encouraging a 14-year-old girl to be in a place in the presence of drugs and alcohol, be under the influence of alcohol, and have sex and encouraging another 14-year-old girl to be in a place in the presence of drugs and alcohol and be under the influence of alcohol, according to warrants.

Bond was set at $100,000.
