David and Jane McCoy of Cove City, and Maurice and Cathy Murphy of Washington, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tracy Lynn Murphy, to David Lee Rouse, both of Cove City.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Tony Rouse of Cove City and Christine Rouse of New York.

The bride-elect graduated from Lenoir Community College Registered Nursing Program and is employed by Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom-elect graduated from Craven Community College and is employed by Cherry Point.

A wedding is planned for Nov. 7, 2009, at Cove City Christian Church.
