Incident reports

The following incidents were reported to the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:

 

On Oct. 31, a man reported someone threatened him and assaulted him with a closed fist. The incident occurred in a parking lot on North East Street, Kinston.

On Oct. 30, an employee of Lenoir County government reported someone stole three rolls of toilet paper (recovered). The incident was cleared by an arrest.

On Nov. 1, a woman on East Bright Street, Kinston, reported someone struck her in the head, resulting in no injuries.

On Oct. 30, a woman reported someone stole her pocket book. The pocket book is valued at $20 and contained $35 cash, a checkbook, and several credit/debit cards.

On Oct. 29, a man on Fields Street, Kinston, reported someone stole a vehicle valued at $6,000 (recovered).

On Oct. 29, a woman on Summit Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke into her residence and stole the following: A 32" plasma TV valued at $900. Damages to a green ceramic frog were estimated at $10.

On Oct. 29, an employee of K-Mart on North Queen Street, Kinston, reported someone stole the following: A CD valued at $14.99 and a skateboard valued at $18.49 (all recovered). The incident was cleared by an arrest.

On Oct. 29, an employee of Lenoir Community College reported stole a Dell computer (recovered). The incident was cleared by an arrest.

On Oct. 28, a woman on N.C. 903 South, Seven Springs, reported someone broke into her residence and stole the following: A diamond tennis bracelet valued at $2,000, a gold wedding band valued at $100, a saphirre and diamond ring valued at $1,200, a 1990 South Lenoir gold class ring valued at $60, a diamond cluster leaf ring valued at $140, a gold ring with a blue/green emerald valued at $140, a black onyx ring with a diamond valued at $100. Damages to a door frame were estimated at $200.
