Nunn, Cox

Ginger Ruthane Cox and Jeffrey Paul Nunn, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage Sept. 19, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Wilmington. The Rev. Thomas Edgar Loftis performed the 4:30 p.m. ceremony. The wedding was directed by Kim McKeithan Golder. Music was provided by organist, Jean Gordy Wachtel and vocalist, Paula Jean Passmore.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald Edward and Cynthia Jones Cox of Richlands. She is the granddaughter of the late Willie Crawford and Virginia Taylor Cox and the late Larry Bryant and Nannie Ruth Metts Jones.

The groom is the son of Paul Lee and Patricia Williams Nunn of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of Helen Rivenbark Nunn of LaGrange and the late Paul Ahsley Nunn and the late Harvey Lee and Elizabeth Pearce Williams.

The rehearsal dinner was held at the Balcony in Wilmington.

The bride was attended by matrons of honor Courtney Jones Phillips of Dunn and Tiffany Jones Thompson of Raleigh. Bridesmaids were Jessica Lynn Fountain of Richlands; Elizabeth Rand Hatcher and Lindsey Rhae Rawls, both of Wilmington; Kathryn Ashby Kahdy and Christa Williams Seaman, both of Raleigh; Krista Curtis Shaw of Albemarle; and Amber Lynn Varner of Greenville.

The groom chose his father as his best man. Groomsmen were John Gwen Campbell of New York City, N.Y.; Corey Franklin Cox of Richlands; Alfred Benjamin Goodrich II and Todd Williams Nunn, both of Raleigh; Emery Donald Ivey, Maxwell Jeffreys Weaver and John Majette Seegars, all of Goldsboro; and Tyler Delaney Nunn of Cary.

Readers were Bridget Nicole Kennedy and Rachel Courtney Mitchell, as well as the register and program attendants.

The wedding reception was held at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington and was directed by Heather Ivady.

The bride graduated from Richlands High School. She attended Meredith College and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is a cardiac intensive care registered nurse with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Healthcare System.

The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School and East Carolina University. He is a nursing home administrator with the Brian Center.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Anguilla, British West Indies.

They reside in Raleigh.
