Spicer-Rice

Mr. and Mrs. James Williams Spicer Jr. of Goldsboro, NC, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Eleanor Katharine Spicer of Raleigh, NC, to Mr. Gregory Glenn Rice of Raleigh, NC, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roscoe Rice Jr. of Bayboro, NC. 

Miss Spicer is the granddaughter of Mrs. Victor Parsons Cherry and the late Mr. Cherry of Opelika, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Williams Spicer of Goldsboro, NC. Mr. Rice is the grandson of Mr. Henry Roscoe Rice and the late Mrs. Rice of Lowland, NC, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Thompson of Bayboro, NC.

Miss Spicer is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Zoology and the University of Georgia with a M.S. in Entomology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Entomology at North Carolina State University. Mr. Rice is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is employed by Diversified Consulting Group of Raleigh, NC, as an electrical engineer. 

The wedding is planned for May 22, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro, NC.
