Mrs. Vann Taylor III

Leslie Alison Wainwright and Vann Roy Taylor III, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage May 17 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville. The Rev. William H. Privett Sr. and the Rev. James C. Cooke Jr. performed the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Jo S. Wainwright of Kure Beach and Mr. Marvin L. Wainwright Jr. of Winterville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Sherman of Burgaw.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vann Roy Taylor II of Jacksonville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Vann Roy Taylor of Tarboro.
The bride was attended by maid of honor Caroline Elizabeth Wainwright of Durham. Bridesmaids were Cindy Claassen Kluttz of Winston-Salem; Katie Mauldin Matthews of Richmond, Va.; Jennifer Marie Strange and Robin Goldman Fitzgerald, both of Raleigh; Leigh Taylor Smith of Charlotte, and Kirsten Layne Ransdell of Cary. Flowergirl was Kinsley Beverage.
The groom chose his father as his best man. Groomsmen were Melvin Smith Robinson III of Cary; Michael Fitzgerald Haley, Thomas Edward Normanly, Phillip Paul Dupalerich and William Stephen Bartley Jr., all of Raleigh; and Frederick Walter Hargett IV of Jacksonville. Ushers were William Dudley Robbins II and Patrick Sherman Robbins. Ring bearer was Tanner Beverage.
The wedding reception was held at White Oak River Bistro in Swansboro.
The bride graduated from D.H. Conley High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a third-grade teacher at Timber Drive Elementary School.
The groom graduated from Jacksonville High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a physical education teacher at Timber Drive Elementary School.
They will reside in Raleigh.
