Kirk-Teague

Kelli Morgan Kirk and Nathan Michael Teague, both of Durham, were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009, at University United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill. Suzanne Dorn Smith and Monsignor Jerry Sherba officiated the ceremony.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Bill and Robin Kirk of Selma.

She is the granddaughter of Joseph and Margaret Pepe of Clayton.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina, she is a school counselor with the Wake County Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Ann Teague and Steve Teague, both of Hickory. He is the grandson of Ruth Reinhardt of Hickory.

Also a UNC graduate, he is a broker with I CAP Energy.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Durham.

The bride’s sister, Kara Megan Brewer of Chapel Hill, was matron of honor.

The groom’s uncle, Bob Watts of Conover, was best man.
