LaBreska Humphrey of Jacksonville and Daniel Tillman of Statesboro, Ga., were united in marriage on May 22, 2010, at Coral Bay Beach Club in Atlantic Beach. The Rev. Harold Turner performed the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. The wedding and reception was directed by Tammy Roys. Music was provided by vocalist, Mitch Johnson; and violinist, Holly Gutierrez.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Rebecca Morton Humphrey of Jacksonville. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Morton of Jacksonville and the late Elwood Morton and Troy and Frances Humphrey of Jacksonville.
The groom is the son of Diana Tillman and Mike Tillman, both of Statesboro, Ga. He is the grandson of June Tillman of Statesboro, Ga., and the late Jack Tillman and Doris Ranew of Statesboro, Ga., and the late James Ranew.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Shephard’s Point in Morehead City.
The bride was attended by maid of honor Cassandra Baker of Jacksonville. Bridesmaids were Holly Humphrey and Allison Humphrey, the bride’s sisters, both of Jacksonville; Tabatha Tillman and Bailey Tillman, the groom’s sisters, both of Statesboro, Ga.; Laura Scalise of Stamford, Conn.; and Jessica Foust of Greensboro. Miniature bride was Trinity Morton. Flower girl was Caitlyn Morton.
The groom chose his brother, Michael Tillman of Statesboro, Ga., as his best man. Groomsmen were Chris Flud and Jason Flud, both of Jacksonville; and Tim Skinner and Derek Lash, both of Carrollton, Ohio. Miniature groom was Coley Tillman. Ring bearer was Cody Morton.
Reader was Holly Humphrey. Register attendants were Jamie Sample, Rachel Pennington and Leanna Humphrey. Program attendant was Brittany Kellum.
The wedding reception was also held at the Coral Bay Beach Club.
The bride graduated from White Oak High School and is attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The groom graduated from Statesboro High School and is also attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The couple plans a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica.
They reside in Concord.
