Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Stark Jr.

Angela Leija and Timothy Lee Stark Jr., both of Cary, were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2009, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wilmington. Father Bob Kus performed the 11 a.m. ceremony. The wedding was directed by Maureen Wiltsie. Music was performed by organist, Sara Bryant and vocalists, Cristina Leija and Ana Leija.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Leija of Leighlinbridge, Ireland.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Lee Stark of Denver, Colo. He is the grandson of Mrs. Olivia Rodriguez of Jacksonville and the late Mr. Jesse Rodriguez Jr. and ret. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Cardido Corrado of San Antonio, Texas.

The rehearsal dinner was held at the Bluewater Waterfront Grill in Wrightsville Beach.

The bride was attended by maids of honor Cristina Leija and Ana Leija, both of Leighlinbridge, Ireland. Bridesmaids were Sarah Santos of Boerne, Texas; Jesse Ramsey and Jillian Britt, both of Raleigh; and Joanne Carrington of Stafford, Va. Flower girls were Carmen Kuehler and Ana Kuehler.

The groom chose John Laluniere of Boston, Mass., as his best man. Groomsmen were David Leija and Anthony Leija, both of Leighlinbridge, Ireland; Robert Bauman of Lake Ridge, Va.; and Jon-Erik Carrington of Stafford, Va. Ushers were Gabriel Monreal, Michael Corrado and Spencer Leija. Ring bearer was Paul Kuehler.

Readers were Cristina Leija and Ana Leija. Candle lighter was Cesar Estrada.

The wedding reception was held at Lily’s Banquet Hall in Wilmington.

The bride is employed with the Chapel Hill Country Club.

The groom is a field engineer with CS Medical/Air Clean Systems.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas.

They reside in Cary.
