Troy Traversie of Charlotte and Robin Trushinsky Bartholomew of New Bern announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Traversie to Jacob “Jake” Thompson, both of Okinawa, Japan.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Michaeline O’Donnell and John Howe, both of Scanton, Pa.
The bride-elect graduated from New Bern High School and serves in the United States Marine Corps.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from Riverside Junior-Senior High School and also serves in the United States Marine Corps.
A wedding is planned for Feb. 12, 2012, at The Flame Banquet Center in New Bern.
