Turnage-Chong

Dana Jo Turnage of Trenton and Wayne Wei-Shih Chong of Labrador, Canada, were married May 10, 2008, at Emerald Isle. The Rev. Charlene Pierce Guider officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Daniel Bryant Turnage and Celina C. Turnage of Trenton. She is the granddaughter of John Crowder of Cove City.

A graduate of George Washington University with a master's degree in education and human development, the bride is employed as an education program specialist with the U.S. Department of Education.

The groom is the son of Sooi and Mai Chong of Malaysia.

A graduate of Emory University with a master's degree in public health, the groom is employed as a project manager with BearingPoint.

Matron of honor was Maxine Zanfardino of Virginia.

The best man was Joseph O'Brien of Florida.

Following a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple resides in Washington, D.C.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at Surf Du Soleil in Emerald Isle.
