HINI vaccine available

The Onslow County Health Department is now offering H1N1 Vaccine to everyone.

Previous restrictions that limited the vaccination to those in high-risk categories because of low supplies have been lifted. Sufficient supplies of H1N1 vaccine are now available at the Health Department and in private physician practices throughout the county.

The H1N1 vaccine is available at the Health Department through walk-in clinics on Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  A family friendly, evening clinic is held every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.

There is no out-of-pocket charge for the vaccine; however, health insurances may be billed an administration fee.
