Crowe-Wade

Alison Renee Crowe of New Bern and William Melvin Wade Jr. of Kinston were united in marriage Sept. 19, 2009, in Cape Carteret.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of James Barnum Crowe Jr. and Rebecca Wood Crowe of New Bern. She is the granddaughter of Bernice Souther Moore of Morehead City; Corenia Waston Wood of White Oak; and the late James Barnum Crowe and Hannible Steel Wood.

A graduate of Lenoir Community College, she is registered nurse in the emergency department of Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of William Melvin Wade Sr. and Paulette Brittain Wade of La Grange. He is the grandson of Valdyra Fornes Brittain and Katrine Pelletier Wade, both of La Grange; and the late Carlton Wayne Brittain and William Malon Wade.

A graduate of East Carolina University, he is a registered environmental health specialist with the Lenoir County Health Department.

Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Amber Crowe Kelley of Laurinburg.

Bridesmaids were Jessica Michelle Boyette of Kinston; Dawn Forrest Roberson of Winterville; and Jamie Killette Wiggins of La Grange.

The groom’s father served as his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Jessie William Conway of Kinston; and Timothy James Seaman and James Scott Wiggins, both of La Grange.

The couple plans to live in Kinston.
