The bride is the daughter of Charlie and Angie Ponsock of Sneads Ferry.

The groom is the son of Jerry and Lucille Wethington of Maysville.

The bride is a secretary at Military and Federal Construction Company.

The groom is an infantry soldier currently deployed to Iraq while serving in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

They reside in Richlands.
