Mr. and Mrs. Steven Willis

Jodie Leigh Helmick of Fairmont, W.Va., and Steven Adrian Willis of Jacksonville were united in marriage on Nov. 26, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Fairmont in Fairmont, W.Va. John Burton Jr. performed the 3 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Linda Helmick of Fairmont, W.Va.

The groom is the son of Steve and Luvondee Willis of Jacksonville.

The bride was attended by maid of honor Dena Helmick of Harrisonburg, Va. Bridesmaids were Hannah Shaffer of St. George, W.Va.; and Tonya Grandstaff of Fairmont, W.Va. Flower girl was Katie Schoenly.

The groom chose Kevin Tucker of Warner Robins, Ga., as his best man. Groomsmen were Chris Gaddy of Jacksonville; and Dallas Helmick of Fairmont, W.Va. Ring bearer was Levi Helmick.

The wedding reception was also held at the church.

The bride graduated from Tucker County High School and attended Davis and Elkins College. She serves in the U.S. Air Force.

The groom graduated from White Oak High School and Fayetteville State University. He also serves in the U.S. Air Force.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Timberline, W.Va.
